32 Point AC Tune-Up

  1. Blower Motor: measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  2. Thermostat: test for proper operation, calibrate, and level
  3. Air Filter: clean existing (as needed)
  4. Bearing: inspect for wear and lubricate
  5. Coil: inspect indoor coil if accessible
  6. Confirm proper return air and size
  7. Condenser Coil: visual inspection
  8. Refrigerant: monitor operating pressures
  9. Safety Devices: inspect for proper operation
  10. Electrical Disconnect Box: inspect for proper rating and safe installation
  11. Electrical Wiring: inspect and tighten connections
  12. Contactors: Test/inspect for burned, pitted contacts
  13. Electrical: inspect for exposed wiring
  14. Capacitors: inspect and test
  15. Fan blade: visual inspection
  16. Condenser Coil Cleaning: remove debris
  17. Service valves: inspect for proper operation
  18. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
  19. Ductwork: Inspect for energy loss
  20. Compressor: monitor, measure amperage and volt draw and wiring connections
  21. Check Unit for Time Delay Relay
  22. Check Unit for Isolation Pads
  23. Suction line: Inspect for proper fittings
  24. Fittings: Inspect all for signs of oil and/or leakage
  25. Check lines and fittings with Freon leak detector
  26. Balance and re-torque blower wheel
  27. Check Home for proper airflow
  28. Test condensate drain line
  29. Check evaporation for coil protection
  30. Check and test high voltage fuses
  31. Check and test low voltage fuses
  32. Check for safety issues
